Overwiew of Stop Motion & Movie Posters
A Studio Boronski Production
This virtual exhibition presents a selection of stop-motion works and film posters by Studio Boronski that explore fate, movement, and human persistence through visual storytelling. Across the collection, recurring symbols and materials reflect a philosophical thread often described as amor fati in frames—the acceptance of life as it unfolds, shaped by choice, chance, and circumstance.
Boronski works with paper cut-outs, charcoal drawings, fragments of text, and restrained animation. Meaning emerges gradually through repetition, absence, and transition, allowing images to resonate rather than explain. Several works are inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s lost painting The Painter on the Road to Tarascon, echoing themes of journey, disappearance, and artistic legacy.
Together, the works reflect on how stories and images shape our understanding of fate, migration, and belonging, inviting viewers to slow down and engage with uncertainty through visual form.
